Locations:
Shanghai is located on the estuary of the Yangtze River where it meets the Pacific Ocean. This is the largest river in China and one of the most important to the life of the country. With such a prime location, it's no wonder that Shanghai has become a global powerhouse and leader. In fact, it's one of the world’s largest and most influential economic, technological, and international trade hubs of the 21st century.

Due to this, the city boasts a population of over 23 million people, which is more than triple the size of NYC! Like many parts of China, modern meets tradition as you gaze out into the famous blended skyline.  Finally, experience the pulse of a city and country that is becoming ever more important in our globalized world.

Beijing is the political, cultural, and educational center of China. This “Capital of a Thousand Years” is now home to over 12 million people. A booming and bustling city, Beijing offers an unparalleled level of energy at all times. You'll have easy access to such well-known sites as the Forbidden City, the Temple of Heaven, and the Great Wall of China. During the winter months, you can even view the ice lantern shows.

Despite its size, Beijing is easy to navigate. Thanks to playing host to the 2008 summer Olympic Games, the city is extremely friendly to visitors. Get ready to explore both the city and the country of China with ease!
