Granada, Spain
  • Earn up to 15 credits per semester as a student intern abroad in Granada; a high intermediate/advanced+ level of Spanish is required.
  • Live in a Spanish homestay, in an apartment or, for an additional fee, in a student residence.
  • An Optional Early Start Program – Intensive Spanish Language and Culture Preparation (4 weeks/5 credits/fall semester or 3 weeks/4 credits spring semester) is available.
  • Enjoy cultural and social activities such as a guided tour of the Alhambra palace complex and Generalife Gardens, exploring Moorish Albaicín, a flamenco show, hiking in the Sierra Nevada mountains, an evening at the Arabic Baths and more; volunteer opportunities are also available.
  • Excursions include a day trip to Nerja, Costa del Sol, a 3-day tour of Gibraltar, Seville and Córdoba, a day trip to La Alpujarra (fall semester) and a day trip to Ronda (spring semester).
  • Optional excursions include a 3-day visit to Madrid and Toledo ($475) and a 3-day trip to Tangier and Tetouan, Morocco ($445).
  • A 2-night tour of London, England, is included for students on the AIFS Flight Package.
  • Tuition and transcripts provided by the University of Granada.
